"I feel that art is an extension and expression of myself and who I am. Combining my love of art and my love of wildlife has made my work even more fulfilling. Whether I am in the field taking reference photos or in the studio painting, I truly enjoy what I do. I hope I convey that appreciation of the beauty of nature that we've been so truly blessed with. As a German philosopher once said, "An artist chooses his subjects...that is the way he praises." My husband, Paul, and I have a son and daughter both married who’ve blessed us with 2 grandsons (and a granddaughter on the way!). I was blessed with parents who supported and encouraged me to follow my dreams of becoming an artist and a husband who has allowed me to be that "stay at home mom" and continue to fulfill that dream. For all those who have encouraged and supported me, I thank you."
